If anyone could help age and value, I would appreciate it. Or if you can even get a date range on something like this.

Thanks
Jerry

Hum interesting... someone welded these up to an very old washer, kinda looks like what one would expect from an old jail house, but somewhat sloppier.

Look like imitations to me. Perhaps for a haunted house, or something?

Those are handmade keys, and if they fit anything, it would be a fairly primitive ward lock. It's possible. Where did you find them? Does the context give you a clue as to age?

The washers and welds look modern to me.

I got them from a Civil War show a couple months ago. I know I can't date that far back really but I just couldn't imagine someone taking the time to do this for a wall hanger. You never know though.

BEWARE of Civil War shows cause they are loaded with counterfeiters , facsimile's and copy's ... these look like a decoration and not authentic Civil War pieces . Take a real close look and ask yourself why the square unlocking plate is the same on all four keys ? Then I would wonder why four of the same keys are on the same loop if one key fits all four locks they'd be no reason for the extra three keys ... except for looks , right ? IMHO , Woodstock
