Oldest coin so far

As out for 2 hours after taking my boys to school.
Been detecting a field outside my village which was used for barley tho year. My grandpa has lived here most of his life and has never seen the field used for crops. Any way here it is
1696 William 3rd shilling

Fantastic! I wish these old coins we find could tell us the story behind their separation from the owner.

1694 halfpenny william and Mary.
Can't believe I've found 2 of my oldest coins on the same day. 😄😄😄😄😄

Congrats on getting 2 of your oldest coins on one day! like IH says almost as old as it gets around here in NA....
