Olympic restaurant token

I found this token on an old beach I always hunt , positive it's made out of aluminum, on the one side says Good for 10 cents in Trade, and other says Olympic Restaurant Yorkton Sask. Yorkton , sask is town and province Iam in , but when I have checked with almost everyone young and old they cannot remember this restaurant ever being here, here are some pics D.A.D.D.-Dads against daughters dating

Your token isn't listed in Tannahill's Saskatchewan token book. Since it was published in 1972 that's not surprising. What was surprising was that there are no restaurants at all listed for Yorkton in the 1912 Bradstreet. I didn't find the Olympic Restaurant in the 1918 or 1928 Dun either.

Amazing info you gave me!!! So what do you think this token is all about? My grandma is 92 with a memory better than me and she said no olympic restaurant in our town that she knows about
