Hey Guys
Had the find of a lifetime today. I got permission to do a field in the center of a old town in CT. I dug a nice colonial buckle yesterday and decided it was a good sign, so I went back today. I got a copper at 8 inches after only 10 min. I was however digging alot of beer cans at like 4 inches so I'm pretty sure the area had fill brought in.
Anyways after about a 1/2 hr I get a solid 50C/$1 reading on my whites. I figure its a lanter bottom or somethin big. I dig a deep plug. maybe 7 inches and its still in the hole. I dug down another 2-3 inches and it was out. I almost fainted when I moved the dirt. It is by far the best coin I have ever dug, and probable ever will.

Sill can believe it.
I made a quick video in the field with my phone. ""Warning"" Sorry for the swearing I was so excited.
Enjoy

I appreciate it anyways. I wish I new how it worked too. Is there a certain number of votes you need, or do the mods just have to like the find reguardless.
Thanks again nun the less
