Very nice finds. Anything we find that old around here would be made of stones, pottery, or bone.

Interesting country- 2nd highest life expectancy, tax haven and genuinely old- formed in 1278. Sounds great.

In Spain economic taxes are very high, about 300 $ (for a salary of 1300 $) :( many Spanish live in Andorra that is near and things are more affordable .... I only visit my parents, is a small country and very cold but very good for detecting.
This place showing and coins, are in Barcelona in northern Spain
if you look at currency legend puts 1614 (BARCINO CIVITAS), which translated from Latin into English means the city of Barcelona 1614 ,.... this coin was made in my neighborhood for 400 years. ;D

Man you find some neat stuff. What a place to live if you are into detecting.
You are one lucky dog. This is a great hobby. Congratulations on the coin.

Lovely old coin, and beautiful area to hunt in. I live in S. Korea and hunt here. All the old castles were laid waste by the Chinese after one of their 1600's invasions.....they didn't want to fight from castle to castle again. So, they destroyed them all.
Some have been redone, or the walls have been redone, or partially. But, there are no original buildings left. Would have loved to seen some of them. Haven't even seen any paintings of any of them.....probably somewhere. And, I would go to jail if I tried to hunt them. But, hunting near them is no problem.
Again, great post. Keep finding, and posting.
