I finally put down the tools and took a break from all the work around the homestead.
Tuesday's hunt took me to a pretty old permission. A house built in 1852, an old school, and an old church.
I managed a few wheat pennies, a toasted V nickel, and a Barber Dime. Lots of rifle brass, with some clad and a beat up Tootsie toy were also recovered in some high humidity.
The water hunt was on Wednesday with
me finding a Sterling Silver Spoon Ring. My first Spoon Ring ever. I chased a few foil tabs and aluminum foil thinking Gold. It was a nice break from the humidity.

An interesting collection of finds--the spoon ring alone made it a worthwhile hunt. Actually, I have never seen a spoon ring, but it sounds intriguing. While you had to work for your rewards, your time paid off. I wonder if you were using your Excalibur for the water hunt.

CTX for dirt, Excalibur for water.
Thanks

Congrats on your first Spoon ring ATW. A Sterling ring just makes it even better.

Nice variety! Your Tootsie toy looks to be in about the same shape as my ratrod when I found it..:laughing7:
