But its my oldest US silver and it may not look the best in pic
but its very detailed. 1842 Dime. Hunting a farm field 10 coins
between 3 of us and i hit this right at the end of the hunt.
Yep.....been there, done that.....I've experienced several "one coin" or "no coin" days......
BUT just hanging in there, and then finding a nice coin at the end of the day makes all the other hours worthwhile.
Was hunting here in S. Korea 2 years ago. had a promising site....large, and it did take 6 trips to complete it.
First day, on the side of the site....moved tons of rocks....zero coins.
Finally got to the top of the site, and got a signal. It was a nice holed coin.....but nothing that I noticed said it was
special, just a holed coin. Got home, rinsed the dirt off, and ...... a moon on one side that had been covered by the dirt.
That changed the coin.....from a $4 to $5 coin....to a $450.00 coin.
Hunt where you know the stuff is/was. Don't give up/in. You'll find the ones that others left. Good THing....
