One hit wonder hits again

I went back to my spot at City Park. I’m the guy when he finds a early coin that’s all I find, but fortunately I do find them.....one day at a time. But the lucky part about me is if there’s only one good coin in that whole area I’ll will find it but never to find another one again.

I think this is a 1888 V nickel which would make my 6th V nickel from this spot (in 2 years), unbelievable in my case, but which of course means 6 different trips at an hour away. :laughing

P.S. Anytime I get a coin in the 1800’s it’s a great day for me. Unfortunately it’s too far and and in-between.

When I set out for a hunt I have ONE objective. Finding ONE keeper. My expectations are pretty realistic. Most of my hunts are based off limited research and a whole lot of faith that I am in the vicinity of a potential keeper target. Perhaps you can relate brother? So you did well to score another nice 1800's coin and your goal was accomplished. I would drive an hour away for even one keeper everyday of the week. Well done.

Kurios1 I always appreciate when you comment. It’s hard we all you hunt is public land. I’m tell you it makes you stronger like today I was on the side of a busy highway near the red light during after work traffic. I just don’t care. Just like you said, if there’s a idea in my head and 5 min of research I’m there.

P.S. My gas bill is outrageous lol
