I hunted Patterson Park in Baltimore for the first time yesterday with my CZ20. I had never hunted anywhere but the beach with it. I wasn't sure how it would perform, so I dug every signal. Uncovered many metal soft drink screw caps from the 70's. I was suprised to find them at the 4-5 inch depth. I only had an hour and after tweeking the settings I was able to uncover a couple of keepers. 1864 IH, 1915 Buffalo, and a 1920 Lincoln. Can't wait to get back out when I have more time. HH

You mean Patterson Park is still giving up some goodies? I thought I found them all in the late '60s and early '70s.

NICE FINDS!

creskol, I found tons of great stuff in the late 80's through the 90's. IHs galore! I was pleasantly suprised to find the IH in 2013. Going back tomorrow after work for another hour. Will post results.

See what advances in technology will do for ya? I was using a do-it-yourself Heathkit that I built in shop class in high school.

I moved back to the Baltimore area after 12 years in VA Beach. In the late 90's I found a few CW buttons, two of my favorites were cuff buttons found in the same hole with most of their guilt left on them. I found 1812 Navel buttons, and many coins from those eras. A couple of CW era bullets, and some good silver. A 1776 1 reale that was only an inch deep up by the Casino. Two Flying Eagle cents and one two cent piece. Several Sheild nickels and countless IHs. It's funny, I can remember just about where each item was found. They have changed quite a few things in the park. It is now paved around the old boat pond. That stretch of grass used to produce some good targets back in the day. They put a fence around a playground area near the corner of Eastern Ave and Patterson Park Dr. I don't know if you can hunt that area or not. I think tomorrow, I'll try up near the Pagoda. I found and 1877 Seated Liberty dime there years ago that was in extra fine condition. Looked like it had just been minted. HH!
