One more big wilver!

I returned today very close to where I found 3 silvers yesterday, and found this coin.
A 1912-D Barber Half!
It was my very first good hit of the day. I hadn't even been detecting 5 minutes yet. It was found on a hillside about 5 inches deep.
I knew what it was immediately when I saw it. It's my second Barber Half now.
I KNEW I should have jumped right back in the car and went home, but I decided to hunt for about another hour. All I found after that was a 1914 dog licence.
I was definately hopped up when I found it, and I knew it would be tough to beat!
This is exactly how it came out of the ground. I didn't put the nick in it.
If this is my last goodie for the year, I'm happy! But if it ain't snowing tomorrow, I'll be out again!

I will not say "GREAT find for the end of 2007" here as apparently no one is throwing in the towel quite yet!
I have no doubt someone is gonna post a Dec.31st 11:59 PM silver , coppa , or gold find !

And GOD willing , tomorrow after I get my Jeeps exhaust system scoped out and GOD willing its inexpensive ! , IM GOING HUNTING !

Nice barber half!! I found my first one this year and it had a couple nicks in it also. When i pulled the dirt off the bottom of my plug and seen the big silver, I just put my hand over the top of it real quick because I wasnt expecting the shock of the big silver. 8)
