I had today off so did some detecting up on Garrett mountain in paterson. Found a few goodies but as any of you know who search up there, the soil kills metal. So for about 8 hours of searching i found a 1850 Canada half cent bank token, 2 silver dimes(1917 and 1919-S in the same hole), an almost unrecognizable indian cent, various wheaties,a 1951 Canadian cent, a 1947 nickel, a cross, various ammo, and my favorite of the day(an early paterson policeman's button)The backmark is Scovill Mfg Co, Waterbury. Thanks for reading, HH. MM2
