Here is easily one of my nicest finds. It is a Lookingbill (7000 years old) made from highly translucent petrified wood. If I remember right it's about 1 7/8" long.
It's strange to find points made from material like this when Knife River Flint was so readily available. I would say 98% of the artifacts I find up here are made from KRF.
