OK so I have been doing this detecting thing for exactly one week today.
Got a new Fisher F22 last Saturday, been searching the back yard, mother-in-laws old farm house and visiting a few town parks.

This is what I got to show for it.

I left out the junk and am just showing the interesting stuff.

Stainless Taiwan fork, Silver Clad Avon Spoon, big hunk of Lead, 45 Pistol slug, deer slug, unfired 22 bullet, several Brass ends from 12 & 20 gauge shotgun shells, square nail, large Washer (these always sound like good money in the ground), Cabinet hinge, someones lost house keys, Christian Sunday school Pin, 2 copper cufflinks (or buttons?) 1925 Lee County Illinois Dog License, pocket watch(stainless), Brass or Copper thingy and 79 cents in change.

How am I doing? What do you think is my best find so far?

Thanks For Looking
Later Bill

Excellent. Thats what I do with my F75 and other detectors. As long as you dig, you will eventually find nicer stuff too. This isnt shabby.
