So I just reached my one year anniversary of MD'ing and have to say that the forum has really motivated me by seeing what other members have found as well as it being a great tool for improving my skills by reading their stories. I'm really happy with my first year finds, using my Silver Umax I was able to find...
3 Walker Halves - 1918,39,44d
2 Washington Quarters - 1944,52s
2 Barber dimes - 1909,12d
10 Mercs - 1917,18d,26,27,28(first silver coin),40,42,42,42d,45
5 Rosies - 1946,47s,48,50,63
2 War Nickels - 1945,45
2 Buffalo Nickels - No dates
6 Indian Head Pennies - 1901,02,03,04,05,06
1 Shield Nickel - 1868
1 V Nickel - 1898
A bunch of Wheaties and over $300.00 in Clad
In addition to the coins I found 9 pieces of Silver jewelry, a gold bracelet, 2 silver thimbles and a bunch of other cool tokens and Relics.

I think the Silver Umax was a great machine for me to learn on and by the end of the summer I hope to be able to cash in my clad to upgrade to a mid-level detector in the hopes that I can start finding some of the deeper, older silver that I think may be eluding me. I'm certain that my second year will be just as good as the first and I hope that everyone has a successful rest of the year... GOOD LUCK and HH!!!
