I found this in a field in Stewart County Georgia years ago, it's 2 inches by 3/4 inch and the base is ground. I'm terrible at typing points and I could be wrong but looks like the maker didn't work in a base ear on one side and it's not damaged at the base. Opinions are greatly appreciated.

Same here. Here's one I found in Macon County years ago, same size and all.

I don't know the types up there but I do know it isn't exactly as the maker intended. I can see where he took at least 7 shots at that stack but couldn't shoot it off. I think the side that looks eared is just a result of those two last ditch flakes trying to go deeper and get that booger. Cool paleo point anyway.

Thanks Gar, gotta love the stacks, would've been cool of the other side had a ear like that too but I'm not picky; just glad it's complete.

Nice point. Don't know type exactly. Paleo, with a little grinding would be close to a clovis?

As a field find from these parts, the patina (or lack of) would suggest a later point as Tdog mentioned.
