So, finally, a LT likes me enough to give a darn lol. In the past they all said they would look into it but never really did. She will be calling to find out what is involved in getting the coins. She says she knows it can be done, she just has to make a couple calls. Also, she tells me that "we cant guarantee that there will be anything old in the bag." Thats cool with me I told her. I asked about dumping and she says I can bring them in like halves, bagged in $500 lots.

A local coin shop might give you $1.05 each (maybe even $1.10) for them. Making a nickel on each Ike doesn't seem like much, but making $25 (if he takes the whole 500) for just handing the bag to him is like finding 2 1/2 40% Ikes in the bag.
