Hello all. I found this yesterday, when I first found it I thought it was a $ clip. However, after cleaning I noticed the 2 holes which doesn't make sense for a $ clip. My initial thought is that its some sort of suspender clip although I haven't seen any like this. There is a letter N on one side & French silver plate on the other. Any help is much appreciated, you guys rock! Thanks for looking & HH!

Could be a money clip that had a chain.

I think you may be right! I did a quick google search & this was the first item that showed up. A vintage 1940s keychain money clip (this one is sterling) maybe my initial ID was right! Thanks for the input!
