Nice pieces. I live < 15 miles from Tallassee and have finds from the Tallapoosa River area which is the eastern border of Elmore County. Tukabatchee is another tribal town there not mentioned in your original post.

I find it fascinating that beads are found like that.

I have never found a bead.

I did find a hammered flat three cent piece which had been drilled so it could be suspended. I suspect on a female dress. This, a nice celt and a partially drilled bannerstone was found the same day on the same site in southwestern Marion County Indiana. The field is now a housing eddition.
