First thing I did was go after that silver coin signal under the Tree roots.
After 15 or More minutes, Struggling
I had these

DSCF0007.JPG

and the signal was still there, So I gave up again :(

Later in the day the Land owner stopped by again
and as we were talking I told him I had a good Silver signal, But
I just can't seem to get it without messing up the Grass there :icon_scratch:

He shrugged :dontknow: so I took that to mean go for it.
So after we got done talking & he reminded by the Chest of Buried gold is His :laughing7:
and Left, I thought, Come hell or High water, I was getting that Silver coin

So back I went & 10 minutes Later :hello2: But :unhappysmiley:

& My Deepest signal, was as deep as the 1883 Indian
I pulled out of here last week, so I really thought Old
.

DSCF0012.JPG

& when I looked I thought
Baphomet baphomet_pin_brooch_by_mamitu-d7cy203.jpg because of it's shape .
and considering how old it looked I was Really hoping it was.
because I would have had to search the History of why there :laughing7:

But

appears to be some Drivers Guardian Angel pin
dated 1915 or 1945 ?
odds tell me 1945 being he's driving but ?

DSCF0016.JPG

I also wonder if it's connected to the person who lost the B Ward Beams
DAREDEVIL
Medal I found there in April

At lest you found what was causing the signal! I think the tree root ATE mine!
The VW probably was HAPPY you saved it!
You dug a little of just about everything, now the silver and gold will start showing up!

As always a variety of stuff. I really like what I think is a pair of drawer pulls?

Thanks All !

beez I don't see Drawer pulls considering size and connection to each other,
But I guess it's as good an i.d. as any :laughing7:
if I were to break them loose from each other,
(I think they are soldered to the connector)
they would each be smaller then the size of a dime.

at this point I'm going to need to get lucky here.
All signals I'm getting are from Can tab Down to Nail
except at the edges of the property where you can't swing a coil without multiples

I still know there has to be at least one seated dime there somewhere.
There were seated coins in the 1870's , 80's & 90's

Looks like you got a multi generational site there...that guardian angel pin is cool !

I got a signal at a spot I hunted a lot last year...it is giving a silver signal but it is under a bunch of tree roots...only way I can get it is to pretty much cut it down...the signal is still there...I think about it everytime I drive by...I,m afraid sinister things are gonna happen to that tree !!

Somehow, after reading about your days, mine don't seem quite so terrible. ;)

I like the "ears" Blingie has a set just like them. I told him he was an honorary Mouseketeer. :)

Might just be my eyes but I think I can actually see 45 . :dontknow:

Nice hunt! Too bad about your "silver". LOL

Things are Growing too fast ! to much rain this year already & more on the way.

one good way to think about the lack of new crap, What I stand to dig their
should be old Crap :laughing7:

The clad dime actually came out of the Carnival grounds in the Backround.
They have ditches dug and filled. I believe they Buried power lines, being where the ditches go to & from. (from poles to concession stands)
So I went over for a quick scan the diggings , & hit the dime on the way.

yea I ended up making a hole big enough for my fist, Then reached in & sort of up top the side
to get under the main root.

May be just me but

Sure looks like someone may have gone after that one in the distant past .
doesn't look fresh enough for me to take credit

Nice hunt! Too bad about your "silver". LOL

the more I looked at the pictures I'm sure it is a Narrow 4 also
it's a bit too pointed on top for a 1.
Plus as I said earlier 1915 would probably be too early for a patron saint of Drivers ,
or guardian angle of Drivers to exist en mass already. may even be a race car drivers guardian, or Truckers guardian :dontknow:

anyway Thanks All !

I really neeed to take a break from this spot,
But the potential keeps me running back.

You have to go with your gut feelings, Jeff. If that little voice says go back......well, you know you will think there WAS a valuable coin there and someone must have beaten you to it, lol.
