Paleo Stones? or Patio Rocks?

Do you see anything here that doesn't scream rock garden? Found in central Missouri in one concentrated area. I've not seen rocks like some of these before, - the dark or clay colored ones are almost like they've been through a fire, with the same reddish-brown substance all the way through. there appear to be markings on them, but you can never quite make them out and it's as if you could brush away the dirt to see the detail, but there is no stopping point of brushing- it's the same substance through and through. other stones are a hard substance but seem to have a deliberate shape. They have been coming out the bank of a creek bed for some time now, concentrated in 3 areas within 100 or so yards. its a sandy creek with clay bottom and over the past year, the creeks width has increased at least 5 times over, and this stuff keeps coming out.
I've made numerous attempts at identification, showing a few pieces at a time, to no avail. The most encouraging comments have been "very primitive"; "no idea, I've never seen anything like that but ill be interested to know what you learn" and "could be Indian". I understand it's difficult to see much other than rocks looking at just a few pieces, or even worse by viewing my poor quality photos. but when I lay them out and can sort similar pieces, it becomes a whole different picture. I'm in an area rich with Native American history, relatively close to both Grahams and Arnold Caves and even closer to a substantial find on a private family farm. So, artifacts- maybe it is and maybe it isn't, but if someone could refer me to a (somewhat) nearby enthusiast I could actually show them to, or if you recognize something here that could possibly be something other than the next layer of my rock garden, I would sure appreciate your input.
Thanks for looking!

Welcome aboard.

I have to agree. There is one picture that may have some Scrapers pictured but the rest are all natural stones.
