Last Saturday it was almost 90 degrees in San Francisco, today it was a lot more comfortable at 65. I continued hunting my way down the median strip where I left off from last weekend. 30 minutes into my hunt I get a solid coin hit on my CZ6, checked the depth, and get a reading of 7 inches. To my surprise out pops a 1927-S mercury dime!
3 hours later I get another mercury at 6 inches!
I put in 6 hours today on my 7th Saturday in a row working this 2 mile long strip. I should finish my first pass through it next weekend. I added another 3 wheat pennies today and a total of about more 100 coins
Totals from the median:
41 wheat cents
2 silver Roosevelt dimes
9 Mercury dimes
1 Buffalo Nickel
1 Silver Quarter (1948)
4 silver rings
1 silver earring
a little over 500 coins
Almost 100 tokens
