Panning for gold.

Long time, first time. Went up to the east fork for a few hours today. Did three test pans with the help of douse and rod., found two specs, got a really good metal detector hit, but gave up. Found .85 cents. Came home to check my finds and during so decided to sweep my shed, I usually pan my sweeps. Found about 12 colors in the pan from panning my dirt from cleaning up.
Point is, if you prospect even a little,make sure you pan your dirt.
