Is there a way to talk to a human on the phone at Pay Pal? If so, would you please let me know how. My bank says they are transferring money to Pay Pal, that I didn't authorize, and my account at Pay Pal only he $15 in it, but that's also gone.

BosnMate,

I just went to the paypal site and here's what you do.....sign in and along the top of the page you'll see a help button....click on that and then you'll see a 800 phone number with a code which will allow them to confirm it's you when you call.

Good luck but believe the hours are standard office hours only.

Regards + HH

Bill

I used to use Paypal all the time, until they wanted my bank account info.

I had a Ebay transaction fail because Paypal wouldn't pay so I called them.

"We need your bank account number, so we can make a small deposit, you tell us how much, and this way we can confirm that you are you."

Really ?? They go on saying once you reach $2,000 dollars in transactions, you must be confirmed.

BS I say, I ask her for my total.......over 2,000 transactions, in 10 years, for a total over $10,000.

A bit late with this?, I ask. New policy she says.

BS. I pay my bill every month, what's the problem? New Policy, Sir.

Let me talk to your Supervisor. No, he will tell you the same thing.

I figure this is some kind of scam, I wait a few days, make sure I have the real Paypal phone no., call back an get the same BS story.

Options : Make a new account, and you are good till you hit $2,000.

Make a special bank account, just for Paypal

I said screw it, quit them and shop on Amazon now.

"We need your bank account number, so we can make a small deposit, you tell us how much, and this way we can confirm that you are you."

When I added a new bank I had to do that. no big deal with for me. They deposited 7 cents (I think) and then I had to tell them the amount. That way they know the correct account is hooked up.

I used to have a "real" credit card business account, with a creditcard swipe machine. every month they would come up with new "hidden fees" that i had to pay. Then paypal came around and i tried them. that machine went into the trash and I cancelled that service. no extra fees a flat percent of the total + 30¢ deducted at time of sale. I couldn't be happier. and it take a lot to make me happy ;(
