Hello all, I have had this ring for quite a while not it’s been in my jewelry box. Well I got to looking at it and it says PDI on the inside of the ring. I searched what it could mean and it says Precious Designs Inc (which is jewelry ranging from 350.00 to the thousands or it could also mean palladium. Which can also be worth a lot. I did test on the diamonds from google, the huff on the diamonds and shining a light which points to real from what it said. I’m just really curious if anyone has anymore info on this ring or can lead me to finding out. Thanks in advance. :)

Hi Jennifer,

Welcome to the Forum! If I were you, I'd take it to a jeweler and have them look at it. Let them know that you're just curious about it and looking for an honest opinion about the metal, stones, and what you could expect to get out of it if you sold it. I wouldn't sell it to that jeweler, in case they gave you a low-ball offer or incorrect information, of course. Then I'd take it to another jeweler and see what they say. I have a jeweler that I trust, and if you do as well, then you could just go to that one.

Kindest regards,
Kantuck

I would stop into a pawn shop or jeweler and see if they can test one of the stones for you. If the stones aren’t diamonds then the ring in all probability is just costume jewelry. Diamond testers are relatively inexpensive so it is a good tool to purchase so you can test all of your finds that might have diamonds.
