it may have some residue from another because the liberty is backwards, which would have been forwards on the coin on top. I'd think if it were an error the liberty would be forward, not reversed.

I have to agree with Dan on this one. With the LIBERTY reversed on the back of your coin, it's most likely that someone took a hammer or a vice to a pair of cents. There's probably another out there floating around with part of a wheat stalk on the obverse of the coin. Nice find, though!
