Hello, last week, I went to a bank close by, the one that gave me 2 indians last month, as an after thought, for halves. They forked over $40 (skunk) and mentioned they had $100 in pennies, $160 in nickels, $1000 in dimes that they will send to the fed if I don't buy them. Well, can't let that happen . I went though $120 in nickels, only got a war nickel. Today, being as I have President's day off from school, I went through the pennies, $130 worth. It took five hours to search them (no sorters here, so I have to re-wrapped). It was really disappointing from the start. Only a Bahamas penny and a smattering of wheats. Some big depositor took the trouble to search out wheats (what a freak!), but I had to search those anyway. It was pretty dismal, until I got to a set of deep red wrappers. Everyone of them had about 30 wheats mixed in with new ones! I ended up with exactly 250 wheats, including two steels and new dates for me 8) . Well, with that over, I rounded it out with some more common wheats and a mason counterstamp, on both sides. And for those who like numbers
