Stopped by an old brick home close by in a small viliage. Lady said that she has records back to 1865. Was a hiding site for humans, underground railroad, and she said indians came to worship in the site across the creek.
Owner gave me permission to detect here, and I was on it like fleas on a dog.
Noticed right away that city drains were installed recently, and probably fill brought in.
I did manage to find a '45 wheet down in the grotto. I avoided going across the creek. May have to try again, didn't try the front yard as I like to stay outa site if possible.

You GOTTA hit that front yard. Sounds like a great potential site. Hit it slow and hard. Jim
