She asked me for locations around Tucson to hunt. I said MANY here will happily help with the answer(s). I guess I would also like to know as she is going to count on my GENERAL knowledge of the ART of detecting but I don't know too much local knowledge in and around Tucson. Petey Girl, What machine are you using and is your interest in Coins, Gold, Relics, etc
If you don't want to dig a bunch of trash just Cherry Pick for Silver. Old parks, old Carnival sites, deserted train stations are good places to start. And don't forget large trees/stumps alongside old roads.
