As a guess: an elk "upper toe" bone. (Dew claw tip). Or some ungulate ancestor. The little guys behind and above the hoof?

Not sure what that is, but I know for a fact that Morals are awesome pan fried in butter with salt and garlic powder, and the pickin' season is within the next few weeks!
