Petrified wood chip with tally marks..perfect drilled pendant

Here are two of my favorite finds, both found at a friends house that happens to be an old camp site..3 miles from my house..needless to say I go there at least once a month! Anyone ever seen anything like this wood chip before? It is the size of a quarter and 1/8" thick.
The pendant is the most perfect item I have ever found imo..a bit bigger than a silver dollar-neat stuff!

Nice finds doomfan. The wood chip looks like some kind of work working appliance spacer?

Those rocks in the last picture all look like plummets. Post them in the North American Artifact section. Or have you already?

Oh and the wood looking piece is a bone/shell game piece.

Wow very cool finds! I love indian artifacts myself, it was the "gate way drug" into MD for me. Quite the addiction! ;)
