Petrified wood found

So, first you need to know I am moving soon. Yesterday, I was looking at a house. I was walking with the landowner talking about the house when my eye caught a rock on the property. I walked over with the owner and figured out it was petrified wood.

I said "This is petrified wood."

He said "You can have it.'

I didn't even ask if I could have it! Talk about lucky!





Going in my fossil collection!

You can find that type of petrified wood by wheel barrel full here in Montana.
