Is British Marines and 1812 era. It's getting to be so long since I found most of my early military buttons I can't even recall if I found one of those.

I see you have found some nice buttons over the last several years. I am on the history search of early Scottish settlers in this area. There was a settlement in this area 1818 onward. HH

I have hunted some early scot sites and found some military too. Quite a few Scottish coins as well.
