PGS and PCGS

What coin are you trying to submit?

I take it from this price list that those coins which are harder to verify cost more. Like the 1792 half disme recently discovered would be in the top bracket-$500 to grade. More research would be required to verify that it isn;t a fake.

1921 Morgan with a little toning

both at least Au-50

Yep, figure about $25 a coin to grade. You have to consider how much more valuable the coin will be if/when it is graded. In this case, I'd say it isn't worth it.

On the other hand, if you 1888 is an O mint, and has a double die oberverse, or a scarface, you should have it graded as it will be worth quite a lot. AU double die is $3,000 and scarface is $1,000 ish.

I have to agree with the two previous posts. The 1921 morgan for instance, it would cost you more to slab it than what the cartwheel is worth. Then basically you would have about $40 or more in a $15 coin.
