Picked up a Tecknetics Delta 4000 from Academy

and decided to check my back yard.. Check out what I found.. I Googled them and they brought me to a few metal dector forums, I guess these were widely used back in the day.. I aged them to approx either 1910 or 1950s.. Anyone have some intel on them?
