I picked up two boxes today. It looks good and I haven't even opened the rolls yet. I will update as I do.

OK, I opened the first 4 rolls and this is what I found so far:
Roll 1: 1963, 1954 Franklin, 1967 Kennedy
Roll 2: 1943 Walking liberty, 1964, 1967 Kennedy
Roll 3: 1967, 3 - 1968 Kennedys
Roll 4: 3 - 1967, 1968 Kennedys

Hey, I just found a 1987 P Kennedy in a roll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My first. Wahoo.
This is amazing. I just found a bicentennial with a mintmark of "S." The edge of it looks silver. Do you think it is silver? If so, is it 40 or 90%?

I am in Georgia south of Atlanta. Whereabouts are you?

The first box is done. Here is a pic of the rest of the coins I found. Includes 60 - 40% Kennedys. Another Walker 1920, 1952 Franklin, and 3 more 1964 Kennedys.

The '76s is 40% if the edge looks silver. Congrats on the silver. I can't wait for my first box to get to the bank next week.I hope it produces something. I'm jones'n!

Dang, how do you do that ? Do you just go into any bank and ask for a box of halves ? Do you ever get a box that is just full of modern junk ?

Wow, that Walker does look brand new... very nice !

Great score and congrats on some good boxes !

I PM'd you back with other details. Silver is rising in price, and it
seems like it is responding by appearing all over the place for us ;)

Happy Searchin'

There is $500 face value in a box of halves. Banks want you to order a minimum of $1000 at a time, but they may let you pick up $500 one week and the other box the next. They get mad if you try to redeposit the halves after searching through them. I spend them on everything from sodas to lottery tickets. The answer is yes, sometimes you get boxes that have only modern coins.

it amazes me how much silver is still out there in circulation. you would think that most of it would be gone by now, but week after week you guys keep making great finds like this! congratulations!
