What an awsome day :headbang: I went to the orchard once again today.........

After finding the Belt Plate yesterday I was really slowing down in the same area today. The usual kinda stuff, crap, junk, garbage, etc. I knew that one more neat find was waiting. It was ! Really trashy signal but diggable. I am also trying to remove some of the trash to see what is under it.

I will let the pictures tell the story. For once I had my camera with me. No one would have believed me ;D OH, My first Barber Quarter, 1912 and an old brooch.

There were no more hits of any kind when I was done. No coins :dontknow:

The other intact frame seems to be filled with dirt. Only the one round frame still has a ghost figure in it. I messed arround and tweaked a pic of the pic :icon_scratch:
Also a few pictures of the Quarter and the Brooch.

Very cool! You might want to check Don's post to see what you can do with that picture. Looks interesting.

Wow. Must be a great story behind those frames ending up in the ground. They say "a picture is worth a thousand words". Would love to hear those words.

Very interesting finds. Seems like everyone is eagerly awaiting your posts. Can't blame them !!!

Congrats,

Brian in MA

I have found more than my fair share of better than average finds but this old picture is different.

I will never know who the ghost is in the photo. Is he wearing an 1812 belt plate? This find is one that I feel 100% sure that I will never find another !

You know, A couple of years back, Don in SJ dug a old photo and it was NOT visible but he was able to clean it with certain chemicals and the image was restored! You MIGHT be able to do the same with the photo above. Check out the link below and see the magic performed on that photo!!

I think that this is a different type of picture. I am not sure that it would work on this one.

Can anyone educate me on the types of old photos? What type is this one?
