Had some of this dense hematite ore run really damn good at our mines. Its dramatically different or surprisingly similar from mine to mine. Sometimes the ore that looks good is junk and the crap looking ore is loaded. Once you figure out the riddle of each mine/vein it definitely helps on the experience side of things.

Indeed not all that glitters Is gold. I've been following this story about a deposit of niobium beneath the flatlands of Nebraska. It is rather interesting, but what the promoters of this deposit, don't seem to mention much about is the major aquifers that are also found underneath the lands of Nebraska. Theres some pretty good glacial gold in the NE part of the state... or prob some in the foothills in the panhandle..

Any minerals would be pretty damn deep in the flatlands.

Yeah I believe that niobium deposit is pretty deep, hence the problems of water, I'm hearing about. I just so happen to be Iowa right now at a motel in Urbandale. I just started selling some caplamps to the UG limestone mines out here. Come Monday, I'll be heading over to Ft Calhoun, Nebraska to see a contractor driving two decline ramps as part of development to new deposit of UG limestone. It sure seems they're mining the heck out of this limestone in this region, by all the trucks I see on the highways hauling this rock. Maybe I'll get me a sample of commercial grade limestone to post, as another minable resource that makes money?

Bringing this bad boy back to life cuz well...you all get to mine year round and I’m bored and have been sifting through all of our inventory Snowmobiled to the cabin last weekend and gave me the fever again... 4’ of virgin...fresh...powder...no tracks, no trails...just...powder.

Nice looking samples. Indeed mining in the high country can be an issue. This was the road to the Revenue mine in the winter of 2016

I see quite a bit going on with some of those samples. Silver, lead, zinc, copper and iron, but iron pyrite isn't always fools gold, as molecules of gold can be locked within some pyrites. Rcovery of gold in pyritic ores The mine I worked at was primarily molybdenum, but there were such other values as copper and lead. Even pyrite was processed and sold to beer bottle makers, as that was what made the glass brown. This pyrite cube was found on the very level I worked a few years on and I'd find them, but would always give them away. Wish now I'd a kept some of the cube's I found. They were bigger than golf balls.

My mine in particular if we are to believe the director of the mint reports, struck the “mother vein” of the mountain. It’s extremely high in silver...some good gold, and grey copper. As well as...pyrites. 40’ wide sections within the vein - but as you indicated, assay very high in gold value.

There are 2 tunnels, 2 open cuts, one adit, and 3 different discovery shafts on my 10 1/2 acres alone - it covers both ridges of a box canyon so they could catch veins on both sides - busy beavers!

If we can get the price of silver back to where it was in 2011, I’d invite everyone out and I think we could make a go of it

Chalco can run as high as 2-3 opt gold.. aresno and galena much more.. or all can be barren or near barren of gold.

Yeah 30 dollar an once silver would surely reactivate a couple of properties in Colorado that I've dealt with in the past. As for uranium, $70.00+ a pound I know would put some miners back at the heading on the Colorado Plateau, as those operations are like jackleg heaven for me when they're up and running.

All debris that came out of the inside of my two tunnels - one tunnel is mostly gold/silver/molybdenum, the other is more copper/silver/molybdenum. A couple of them are from the main 40’ wide vein, from an area rich in pyrites that in turn are rich in AU - couple more pics of that section below:

Here's a big chunk of molybdenum ore. The rock is used in the jackleg competition during Leadville Boom Days. We donate to the event in the way of some carbide bits and overhauling the drills used in the competition. The rocks are painted with a grid pattern for the competition. The last picture is a painted and prepped rock from a previous year and a drill I just delivered getting a quick trial run the day before the event.
