Pig iron, slag, or something else

I wasn't sure if this should be in "todays finds" (I found it today), or "what is this"?! If it needs to be moved, go ahead and move it.
I was out coin shooting this morning and found it about 12" down in a city park. It's very heavy for it's size and mildly magnetic. Naturally occuring iron, slag, possible meteorite fragment? I'm just guessing. Never found anything like it before. Any ideas?

Most likely slag or a piece of corroded iron. If you want to see if it is a meteorite you can cut it on a diamond saw polish it and paint on a bit of sulfuric acid and see if you get any pattern.
