Looks like a back plate to a drawer pull.

Certainly looks like a drop ring drawer pull, but is this one piece? I hadn't noted before a "faux drop ring pull" (non-functional) used as an escutcheon. And is there a protrusion where the hole is, and is it offset at an angle? Or am I seeing it wrong?

Could we get a picture of the other side? To me it's looking similar to horse rosettes that I've found in the past.

The pattern is referred to as a 'laurel wreath' if that helps.
