Hey,
The rockshelter I have been working is still pretty much froze up, so I decided to walk the field above it. Still not plowed, but I thought I'd roll the dice and take a look. Low and behold I found this pipe. Not sure what it is and I will brace myself for the feedback I get...
Any and all thoughts are welcome. Keep in mind my remote location and very little modern contact. I'm probably 100 yards from the top of the shelter I have been working.
Thanks BCI

I'm thinking early 20th century
There would have been a Reed inserted in the stem.
It appears mold made.
Of course I am not holding it.. but that's my first impression.

I looked for a parting line very closely and found none, you might be right, but I know a thing or two about molding...just too coincidental??
Thanks Gator I appreciate your input,
BCI

I agree with Gator about the possible time that it may have been made. It's a keeper in my opinion. :icon_thumright:

Hey bci! I gotta think some ol farmer was awful disappointed when he went to light up. It looks a lot like a style I have seen in use in my days.

Very nice pipe, BCI,

Is it 8 or 10 sided? Is it clay, or...
