Places to hunt in Raleigh?

Hey all, I am going to be in the Raleigh area for work within the next couple of months, and was wondering if there are any good spots to hunt.....and also is a permit required?

Any idea what month & how long you'll be here? I'll have a LOT of acres to cover come fall.
I'm in Cary which is just outside of Raleigh.
