These are the artifacts I dug this week and last weekend on a property that was once a plantation site in Richmond County,Virginia (Northern Neck of Virginia) dating to the late 18th/late 19th C. There are slave graveyards on the property and a cemetery with graves dating from the 1814/1832/1860s,etc.

Civilian Dandy flat buttons, Civilian flower buttons and a bracelet.

Nice early site you've got into HSD. There are a lot of those up on the Northern Neck. I've hunted a little up that way over the years, but my friend Stan has hit a bunch of places in that area since he lives nearby. I know you're anxious to hit that spot hard in the winter, and I'm sure you'll do quite well. Those are some nice dandies, and I love that bracelet. That would be awesome if it turns out to be from a slave as Crusader mentioned. Hopefully you can verify that. Good luck ..... Bill

That is a gorgeous slave bracelet, dude! Most of the ones I've seen have been in a LOT worse condition! Congrats, there are a ton of people who would love to own that piece of history. I'd hit that site hard, you just might turn up a slave tag or two and those are rare as hen's teeth!
