I have posted some of this before but I think its worth it again//
We have a summer camp and hold family reunions yearly -with up to 80+ and 10-15 kids
about 8 yrs ago I planted about 30+ Quarters and other stuff (things I dug ) all over the yard.
Than when things get slow (kids get restless) I dig out my 4 detectors, gather the kids , give a quick lesson and let them go at it. They have a ball and several are now into detecting//
One little guy went home and told his Dad "Dad we gotta get a detector // there are quarters all over the place"//// Great fun----try it// Perry

I had a similar idea with a catch and release type procedure, so that future generations can enjoy metal detecting. I submitted this on another forum only to be scorned to say the least. What good will metal detecting be in 20 years when there isnt anything to find?
