I think it's a variety of Gooseberry Chris. There's other berries around also that grow along the ditches and creeks, but i don't know if there edible or not. Maybe I need to find out incase I need to live off the land someday. I do have an abundance of cotton tails around and with these evasive eurasian doves, plus fish in the ponds I'm thinking my odds of survival might not be so grim.

Beautiful pics. My phone takes great close ups like those but stinks for taking shots of small animals even forty feet away. I believe those are gooseberries, we used to grow them here and my mother would make gooseberry jam. She was an OH girl and was great at all those homemaking things that aren't done by many anymore. Dang, now you got me missing gooseberry jam!!

Gooseberries and currents were my favorites as a kid, guess why that's why they looked good enough to eat.:laughing7:

Beautiful western plants I'm not familiar with. I do recognize a fancy milkweed. Gary
Yeah even some weeds can demonstrate a pleasant look at times.
