Not too much today. Snow was coming down but it was low tide and I'm only off work for a few more days so I had to go. Hands and feet frozen. Found one crude little quartz point with a base nik. Also a scraper? It kinda looks like a core but I find alot of these in the same place I find knives. The performs I find are biface and these are always uniface and thicker. Also a half of a knife. No rhyolite today besides flakes. Happy hunting and stay warm. I think I got 1 more hunt before 2013.

first one kinda looks like a natural calcite crystal. But I'm blind as a bat so I can't really tell. Have fun playing in the snow. I am.

Not bad for playing around in the snow. Interesting scraper/core thing, I found a similar piece that I posted a while back thinking it might be a core. The last piece that looks like it has base damage is cool, don't think Iv'e seen anything like that in this area before, got a type for that one?

Not really sure on type since the base is so long. We do have tapered bases like that here called poplar island points but they are usually bigger. All these stemmed points here on the midatlantic coast could be lumped together as eastern stemmed but there is so many sub types. I any one has an idea I'm open for suggestions.

Looks like you got some good scraper type tools there and 1 nice point. Too bad for the damage on that point. We just keep getting rain here. No snow yet. I hope to go looking myself soon.
