Afternoon,

Thats a flint knappicus problemus ;D..............that indian was having trouble removing the humpback from that preform. Looks like an archaic stemmed point to me...dont know your location so making a exact ID difficult.

Great item if you look at it. Imagine the indian studying it and saying how in the heck am I going to knock off that hump without breaking it,hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm :thumbsup:

That's a chunky one, some kind of stemmed knife I believe. I find them around here like that sometimes, usually around 2 inches though. That piece was probably huge at one time judging from the thickness.

Thanks for the info all....it is cool for sure. Big and heavy....neat piece. She has another just like it but slightly Smaller.
