If you check my latest threads you will grab some kind of idea of how old this hilltop site is!! We found a large button that dates from 1780's and other things coins bottles buttons and such all the into the late 1800's!! I need help with these two pieces I don't have a clue what they could be but I hope it's something really cool!!!!!

looks like cast iron stove lids. the indention is where you pick it up with a grabber

on the 4th photo I think i read "1722"??? maybe model # or something in that nature! do not think this is from 1722

I don't think so either, I also thought cast iron stove lids at first.. However I don't like to say what I think because people tend to just agree.. I want new fresh ideas!!!! Haha
