Hey Terri,

I'd encourage you to post your good bottle finds up in the Bottle & Glass section. This section of TNet is not well travelled, IMO.

Let's try this in descending order.

1) 1940ish Aspirin tin. May be worth a couple bucks.

2) Certo bottle. No monetary value.

3) Phillip's Milk of Magnesia. 1930's - 1940's. People like cobalt glass, perhaps $5.

4)Lawson's Pyro milk 1950 - 1965. Maybe $15 if the pyro is all good. 2 Where There`s Lawson`s Half Gallon You Pay Less for Milk Bottle Carrying Case | eBay

5) Screwtop Listerine. No monetary value.

6) Tacks. No collector value

7) Milk glass screwtop Woodbury & Ponds cold cream jars. No collector value.

8) Plastic? capped amber bottle. Recyclable.

Terri, these are all ultra common mid 20th Century bottles. Except for the Lawson's and the MOM, they are eminently recyclable. That's just my opinion. If you dig bottles regularly, you will be buried in nondescript glass, in no time...

Here's a great site to learn about old bottles: Historic Bottle Website - Homepage
