We are three guys who need some help in determining just what we have unearthed....we have been told that the pieces are very old & rare, but we live a very small community and really don't know just where to go from here. We are going to post some pictures so that someone out there can help us...we would appreciate any & all help.....we have more!
Thanks

i guess my biggest question would be.... were they dug up in the U.S.? Europe? Elsewhere? Almost looks like ancient to medieval kinda stuff-- old pottery and small cannonballs? Not sure.

The stones in your hands look much like rudiment stones produced in the stomach of rudimentary animals. Is there a chance you found someones collection of these?

The bottom 'musket balls'? are kinda puzzling-- seem a little too big to be musket balls and a little too small to be cannon balls. But not being an expert, I could be way wrong on both counts. I'm even more puzzled about the 'stones' in picture 2. Picture 5, I can't tell WHAT that is.

But from what I can see, you found multiple ceramic (or are they metallic?) vases/pots? If so, that would certainly indicate a wreck or settlment of some kind. The metallic rod or nail or what have you embedded in the rock/petrified wood is also interesting.

The small balls could be grape shots, They would put up to ten of the little balls in a canister it acted like a shot gun shell for cannons

Now I'd be REALLY curious to see a clear pic of those coins-- or even ONE of those coins!

A clear pic of even ONE the coins found would go a long way as far as one of us being able to tell what you might have. So far have not seen a picture of anything with a design, number, lettering or date on it.

I'm posting to keep up with this thread. I'd also like to see pics of the coins.

Three photos look like natural stone formations...the one sphere..if it has a groove running all the way around it may be a bola stone..(need better photos).. One other thing "darkest" need much better photos...

Possible bola stone..need photos from a couple angles showing the groove. And if any of the others have one or a pronounced flat spot...but probably natural also

Couldn't the larger round stones be ballast stones? And yeah I'm in line to see the coin photos as well........
