I've never seen a plow blade with a scalloped edge like that but anything is possible I guess.

To me, it looks like it's upside down. Part of a tractor. A lever moved next to this piece and the 5 dips are for 5 different positions for plow depth. Just my guess. Calling Creskol and Benz! Gary

Todd has a point! It's the detent for the lever that raises or lowers the teeth of a harrow or cultivator.

Don't think the notches are "Square" enough to hold unless they are very worn but looks too uniform for wear.
